What is THCP?
This broad-spectrum CBD oil contains Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabiphoral also known as THCP. THCP is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in cannabis and an analog of THC, the compound responsible for most cannabis psychoactivity. Discovered only in late 2019, THCP is one of 120 (or more) cannabinoids found to date in the cannabis plant.
Effects of THCP FS Oil
It is by acting on the endocannabinoid system in the human body and activating CB1 and CB2 receptors that a range of effects are triggered in the brain, leading to changes in consciousness. Such changes include:
- Euphoric feelings
- Changes in visual and auditory perception
- Changes in the interpretation of time.
Although research on the cannabinoid THCP is in its early days, early studies show that THCP products could relieve pain, combat nausea or help fight epilepsy. Preliminary findings from these aforementioned studies also suggest that in terms of effects on the human body, the profile of THCP is strikingly similar to the cannabinoid THC. In fact, pain relief, a sense of calm and balance, and feelings of dizziness or anxiety may also be experienced. For some users, THCP products may support the process of falling asleep, but for others they may exacerbate possible insomnia problems.
