What is 10-OH-HHC?
10-OH-HHC is a hydroxy derivative of hexahydrocannabinol (HHC), which is a trace cannabinoid found in cannabis plants and a metabolite of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
This cannabinoid is one of the possible products of the oxidation of HHC by cytochrome P450 enzymes in the liver.
Effects of 10-OH-HHC
The effects of 10-OH-HHC have not been well studied, but it likely has some cannabimimetic activity, meaning it can mimic the effects of THC and other cannabinoids.
However, the potency and selectivity of 10-OH-HHC for the cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 are unknown.
