What is HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol?

HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol, is a hydrogenated form of THC. The conversion process of THC to HHC occurs by hydrogenation (hydrogen atoms are added to the molecular structure to stabilise it, It’s basically the exact opposite molecule as CBN (cannabinol), which forms as THC breaks down and gains additional double-bonds. HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol is formed naturally in the hemp plant  in very low concentrations.  In order to obtain a considerable amount of HHC a complex and specialised process is used. This in order to saturate THC with hydrogen atoms. The double bond structure of THC is broken and replaced with hydrogen while maintaining the cannabinoids effect and potency.  This change of THC also increases the binding affinity for the CB1 ad CB2 receptors as well aas the TRP pain receptors. Stability of HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol. HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol is also the most stable form of THC as it’s super resistant to oxidation, heat, and UV light.  Therefore it’s a very stable cannabinoid, you can store it relatively long. You can expose HHC to more external parameters without it losing its concentration.

What effect does HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol provide?

The effects of HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol are very similar to those of THC, such as increased senses (smell, visuals, sensitivity and auditory). In fact depending on the cannabinoids were HHC will be blended with the effects will be from sedative to uplifting, energising and focused.

What are medicinal uses for HHC-Hexahydrocannabino?

  • Ease pain
  • Lessen anxiety, stress, and depression
  • Muscle relaxant
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Control vomiting and nausea
  • Boost appetite and improve nutrient absorption

Dosages

Low HHC dose ranges from 10-20 mg per serving. Moderate HHC dose ranges from 20-50 mg per serving. Heavy HHC does range from 50-100 mg per serving.

Does HHC show up in a drug test?

HHC-Hexahydrocannabinol will not show up on a drug test as THC will do as THC will convert to 11-hydroxy-TCH when you consume it . Furthermore 11-hydroxy-TCH is a metabolite which is the one that triggers a drug test. For HHC, this is not the case. It does not dissolve into 11-hydroxy-TCH.
